In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Peace be upon you. Today you are going to watch the second episode of The Amazon series. I had actually made this post as an introduction to the Amazon forests. And for those family members who haven’t read it, I’ll briefly tell them what happened. About four hundred and fifty (450) years ago, when the age of exploration had begun, and I had told you how during the age of exploration, adventurers seeking new worlds would set sail from Europe in ships, searching for new routes in the seas.
So in those days, a ship that had set sail from England found an island in the seas, which they later named The Roanoke Island.The ship’s captain, Sir John White, liked this island very much. Pleasant weather, beautiful dense forests, and a white shore made of blue seas. So he decided that he would establish a village on this island, a settlement, or what we call a colony today.
This island is near the American state of North Carolina. But obviously, at that time, America was not the America it is today, but people were still coming there from Europe and seeing it as a new world. Anyway, John White and the 115 people with him established a village on that island for the first time.
In the beginning, everything was very good. The very next year, Sir John White was blessed with a lovely granddaughter. And all the villagers were very happy at her birth because she was the very first Christian baby to be born on American soil. I’ll even tell you a fun fact that they named this baby Virginia Dare. And the state of Virginia in America today is basically named Virginia after that same baby Virginia.
But at that time, perhaps no one in the entire village had any idea what was about to happen to their happiness and their village.
The villagers were living their lives happily there. They had even convinced Sir John White to go back to England and bring back more people and necessary supplies from there. Because it’s a bit of a strange thing, but the villagers felt that their belongings were disappearing one by one.
And Sir White himself once wrote a note in his diary something like this, that a silver glass of mine that was very dear to me and that I had brought with me from England, had disappeared from the chest. Although ostensibly there was no theft in my house.
Anyway, Sir White went back to England to get more people and necessary supplies. But after some time when he returned, and he was also very eagerly waiting to return because little Virginia’s birthday was also coming up in a few days. So they were still at sea when they saw that their entire island was shrouded in a strange kind of deep fog. A fog the likes of which they had never seen before.
Although Sir White’s wish was to reach home before Virginia’s birthday, the other people on the ship advised that this was a strange fog and it was also getting dark. So lest we hit a big sea rock while anchoring the ship. So it was decided that the night would be spent there at sea and inside the ship. But still, these people sat on the ship’s deck until late at night, singing songs in the English language in a loud voice so that the islanders would know that they had reached the shore.
Now in the morning when the fog cleared and the ship’s people reached the island, they saw that there were signs of people walking and footprints, but the entire village was missing.
They searched the entire island but found no trace of the villagers. So much so that Sir John White wandered around in search of his granddaughter and the villagers until his death. But to this day, it is just a secret where those people went after all.
Inside the houses in the village, everything was in its place, neat and tidy. But not a single one of the 115 people in the village was found there.
It seemed as if the forest had swallowed all the inhabitants of the village overnight.
Today, almost 400 years have passed since this incident, and during these 400 years, dozens of theories have come to light, but no definitive answer has ever been found. One theory says that they might have been attacked and killed by local tribes. But in that case, there should have been some signs of a fight or struggle in the village. Some blood should have been found, but no one had found anything like that. Then the second theory is about an animal attack, that they might have been attacked by wild animals. But once again, the same issue that some evidence would have been found. Torn clothes or blood-stained remains, etc., but nothing was found. Then someone says that there might have been a famine in the village. But recently, that is, in 2015, a scientific study of the inner rings of the trees in that entire area was conducted.
And you must know that from the study of the inner rings of trees, we can find out a lot about the past several centuries. But no, the trees tell us that there has never been a famine in that area. In fact, this is a very fertile and green area.
The complete disappearance of Roanoke village is still one of the great mysteries of history. And regarding that, I received emails from you again, asking what could be the reason behind the disappearance of the entire village. Now look, it’s an obvious thing that the certain reason for their disappearance is not known, that’s why it’s called an unsolved mystery. But if you look at this area, you start to get some leads.
For example, just 250 miles from the village of Roanoke, a very special mountain range begins, which is currently one of the oldest mountains in the world. The Appalachian Mountains. The Appalachians are 480 million years old mountains. In other words, they were formed when dinosaurs had not even been born yet. These mountains were formed when neither the Himalayas nor the European Alps existed.
The Appalachians are one of the oldest mountains in the world, and sometimes it seems as if they are like that old elder of a village who has probably seen a lot during his life and today… today he is watching this world in silence with many secrets inside him. In these mountains live some families so ancient that they still speak colonial-era English. That is, they are so isolated from the outside world, they have interacted so little with the outside world that their language is still the same as it was 500 years ago. This is just like if someone in front of us today started speaking Urdu from the time of Emperor Akbar or Shakespearean English.
Once upon a time, coal was also mined here, but gradually, as the use of coal ended and the industry shifted towards liquid fuel, all the workers’ houses in the Appalachians, that is, more than 1000 villages, were all abandoned, deserted. That is, at this time, there are at least 1000 villages in the Appalachians where no one lives. These thousands of houses lie empty there.
However, the reason I am telling you about the Appalachians is its no-go areas. Because so far there have been hundreds of cases where people went into the Appalachians and were never seen again. These no-go zones are places that even locals avoid going to. So much so that the government has even banned camping near these areas.
Now my theory is that perhaps the same thing happened to the villagers. They were living their lives happily, but then the search for necessary supplies forced them to leave the village and perhaps they went into such a no-go zone of the Appalachians from where no one ever came out again.
Then one more thing, the Appalachian mountains are located in an area of this world through which ley lines pass. Now these are the same lines that pass through extremely mysterious areas like the Pyramids of Egypt, Jerusalem, and Ayers Rock.
These are the places where amazing things have been happening throughout history. But obviously, ley lines are a completely different topic. I only had to mention them by name.
But these ley lines also pass through the Appalachian mountains. And this theory is particularly strong because the village of Roanoke is not very far from the ancient and mysterious mountains of the Appalachians. Those mountains where a lot has probably been lost forever and ever. But still, God knows best what happened to those people. Anyway, let’s now formally begin our video, and today’s episode’s topic is the dense forests of the Amazon. About 12,500 kilometers away from Pakistan, there is a very large forest of extremely dense trees called The Amazon Jungle. More than 4 billion plants and trees, and the highest biodiversity in the world, that is, different types of animals, birds, and insects, etc.
Nowhere else in the world is there so much biodiversity, and the biggest reason for this is a special soil found in the Amazon called Terra Preta. Terra Preta, or black earth, which is unnaturally fertile. No soil in the world is naturally as fertile as it is in the Amazon.
It seems that at some point, the people living here had made this soil so fertile after centuries of hard work. They were amazingly familiar with the land and its properties. They knew how to make land for millions of people to live on. And sometimes it seems as if someone had mixed millions of tons of fertilizer into the soil of the entire jungle. Because naturally, nowhere in the world is there soil like that of the Amazon.
This is why a theory also arises that the Amazon was basically a garden of those people at some point, which went out of control and became a jungle after they left. And perhaps that is why in just one acre of the Amazon, a thousand different kinds of trees and plants are found growing.
And this is a very big reason why scientists call the Amazon a land of treasures. Yes, the Amazon has hidden treasures far greater than gold and silver.
Lost cities of gold are one thing, but in terms of medicine, only one percent (1%) of the Amazon jungle has been studied to date. We don’t even know yet what diseases can be cured with medicines found here. Do you know that some tribes living in the Amazon know about plants that are perhaps the most powerful psychedelics in the world? For example, for thousands of years, some tribes in the Amazon have been preparing a mixture from certain leaves found in the jungle, which produces the most powerful DMT effect in the world. DMT, or Dimethyltryptamine, is an extremely powerful psychedelic. So powerful that if you eat even a little bit of it, the world will change before your eyes. You will see colors that the naked eye cannot even see.
From these leaves, we get an idea that Allah Ta’ala may have placed the cure for many diseases in the Amazon. But the Amazon hides not only mysterious plants but also many secrets, one of which is those tribes about whom we know nothing and those tribes know nothing about us.
And what I am about to tell you now is a completely true story. It was 1996 when a team surveying the Brazilian jungle noticed that there were some pits in an area within the Amazon. That is, sometimes a pit 50 kilometers away, sometimes a pit 100 kilometers away. In this way, one by one, they found about 14 pits about which it was not understood who had made them.
Anyway, they made observations and found out that a man was living here in the jungle who belonged to a tribe that no one knew existed until ’96. Neither the surveyors found out what language he spoke, nor did they ever find out the name of his tribe.
These people were seeing that tribal for the first time in their lives, and that tribal was also perhaps seeing a human for the first time in his life. Yes, they did take a picture of him, but his face is not visible in that picture either because the picture was either taken in a great hurry or a shot was suddenly taken from a distance because this person did not come so close to humans.
The jungle surveyors could only find out that he was making a living by hunting, collecting some fruits and honey. That is, they were basically seeing a real-life Tarzan with their own eyes and the holes he had dug. To this day, there is no consensus on why he was digging those holes. Some say that these holes were being dug for hunting, while others say that these holes were of a religious nature. But then, it was because of these holes that this man was given the name The Man of the Holes. And today, in the official records of Brazil, this person is known by this name.
But in 2009, someone shot him just to harass him. Now, the Man of the Holes’ life was saved at that time, but after that, he never came in front of humans again. Sometimes I wonder in great astonishment what someone would have gained by shooting this innocent and possibly mute person, today’s human who has given himself I don’t know how many titles.
Anyway, the Man of the Holes was saved that day, but then many years later, in 2022, his body was found lying in a place in the jungle. And looking at him, it seemed as if he himself had come and lay down in this place, as if he was waiting for his death. And he himself had spread some feathers of Macaw parrots over himself. Which suggests that in the heart and mind of that savage, there must have been some kind of afterlife concept. That is why he attended death like a ritual.
These Macaw feathers spread on his body represent some kind of belief. Later, the government-appointed jungle surveyors buried him, but look what happened again, someone vandalized his grave. I really don’t understand why people do this. What satisfaction does this kind of mischief give them?
Anyway, all this is present in the records of Brazil, but the Man of the Holes is just one example of the secrets hidden in the Amazon. Do you know that the tribes living here often talk about a thing called “Yacumama”? Yacumama, meaning a very big snake.
Now remember that a very large snake is indeed found in the Amazon, which is called the green anaconda. And it can be 250 kilos in weight and up to 30 feet long in size. But according to the tribesmen, the Yacumama is double the size of a normal anaconda, that is, 60 feet.
Now scientifically, such a large anaconda has never been found. But you know that the core area of the Amazon, that is, the interior of the jungle, is so dense that only 1 percent (1%) of the sun’s light reaches there. That is, in the core area, there is a kind of darkness even during the day.
And who knows who might be sitting quietly hidden in the shade of a tree in these dense forests.
Then the second thing is the Amazon River. Look, for a large animal like an anaconda, it is necessary to stay near water. Because for such a heavy and large animal, it is easier to move in water than on land. But the Amazon River… one, its water is murky, that is, you can’t see what is swimming in these murky waters. And second, in some parts of the Amazon River, where lotus flowers are blooming, their leaves, that is, lily pads, spread on the water become so large that their diameter spreads to more than 6 yards.
These are such large leaves that even if a young child stands on them, they do not break. And looking at them, you can imagine for yourself what animal might be hidden under these leaves, in these murky waters.
So you see, the Amazon jungle is not just a rainforest, but it is a living secret where science, mystery, myth, and legends all become one, and you can’t tell where science ends and where the secrets begin. And in this scientific history and mystery-laden Amazon, there used to be a city, Palenque, where a king ruled whom we know today as Pakal the Great.
This was about 1450 years ago, when in Arabia the era of the last Prophet, Hazrat Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam, was still ongoing. At that time, far away from Arabia, in these dense jungles of the Amazon, a king was being coronated, who was only 12 years old. But later on, this young king, whose parents had named him Pakal, disappeared for many years during his youth, he went somewhere. Where he went, no one knows.
But when Pakal’s tomb was first discovered in 1952, they found a very strange thing there. And that was a large stone slab placed on Pakal’s coffin. For the past 70 years, a debate has been going on among researchers of the Maya civilization as to what the image on the slab of Pakal’s coffin is.
Is it just a picture of the king, for which a fancy kind of relief has been made, or has someone told a story of the king who is traveling upwards sitting in a kind of machine? And if you look closely, some flames of fire also seem to be coming out of the rear end of this machine. As if it were some kind of rocket.
For 70 years, this debate has been going on as to what exactly this is. Some researchers say that no, this is just a trick of the eye or… while some say that this could be proof of the fact that at some point in the Amazon, there was some technology about which we know nothing today. But the one thing that cannot be ignored at all is the astonishingly accurate knowledge of these tribes named Maya about the stars.
I’ll tell you an interesting thing. To date, only 6 civilizations have passed in the world, which are called pristine civilizations. That is, those civilizations, those nations, that developed on their own, completely separate from the rest of the world. They made inventions for themselves, invented languages for themselves, designed their own writing styles.
And the names of those 6 pristine civilizations are. Number one, the Sumerians, who lived in Iraq thousands of years ago. Then, number two, the Ancient Egyptians, they also had their own style that they invented themselves. Then the Indus Valley civilization. Yes, our country is located in a place where a pristine civilization once existed. Number four, the Shangs who lived on the banks of the Yellow River in China.
And then the last two civilizations passed through the Amazon jungle and its vicinity. That is, one is the Olmecs, from whom the Maya and Aztec tribes later emerged, and the last civilization then is the people living in the Andes mountains, about whom I will tell you a little later in the series.
But these are the 6 civilizations that grew up on their own. And from those civilizations, a tribe of Maya people emerged. Who used to live in present-day Mexico and to some extent in the Amazon jungles. The Maya people were very advanced in astronomical knowledge. That is, in the knowledge of stars and planets. And I want to give you some information about them that I’m sure you will enjoy hearing.
During the Age of Discovery, many Spanish ships came in search of the Amazon jungles. And in those ships, where there were seekers of the elixir of life like Ponce de Leon and enthusiastic adventurers like Francisco de Orellana who wanted to know the secret of the jungles, there were also some people who were coming to the Amazon only with the intention of preaching their religion to the tribes there. And thus some conquistadors did a very great injustice to the Maya civilization.
From the Amazon jungles to the jungles of Mesoamerica, in thousands of years, it has only happened 12 times that a tribe has started writing its history in the form of words.
And among those 12, the most advanced and best style of writing was that of these Maya people. But when some people came from Spain to the Amazon with the sole intention of converting the Maya people, then whatever Maya book, Maya tablet or tablet they found, in which they had written their history, they would smash it on the ground or throw it into the river.
Because they said that your religion says wrong things. And thus all the books of the Maya people, all their tablets were broken and only 3 big books could be saved whose names are Codex Madrid, Codex Dresden, and Codex Paris. And today, whatever information we know about the Mayans has been obtained only from these 3 books. You can imagine what a great historical treasure of the Maya civilization the Spanish conquistadors must have destroyed.
Although from these 3 books we do not know whether Pakal really traveled to the sky sitting in a machine or not, but it is definitely known that they had amazingly expert information about the stars. For example, they knew that in our world, a year is completed in exactly 365.24 days, which is an incredible thing that how they came to know such an exact duration of a year.
Then, regarding the rotation of the stars and especially the solar eclipse, they used to judge many years in advance that after so many years from today, the sun will be eclipsed at this time for this long, which is something unbelievable, how the people living in the jungle came to know such precise mathematical calculations. Then they had the concept of zero, which is a very surprising thing to be in a pristine civilization. Then Planet Venus.
You can imagine that 500-600 years ago, when the rest of the world had no idea about this, even then the Mayans living in the jungle knew that a year on Planet Venus is 584 days. That is, a year on Earth is 365 days while a year on Venus is 584 days, which is absolutely correct.
Even the pyramids they built… the pyramids found in the Amazon jungles were built directly according to the position of the sun and moon, which shows the relationship of those people with this universe.
In fact, I’ll tell you a very interesting thing. In Mexico, the Maya people built a pyramid called the pyramid of Chichen Itza. A special feature of this pyramid is that if you stand in front of it and whisper even in a low voice, your own words come back to you many times louder.
But that echoing voice will be a completely changed voice. It will be a voice like a bird’s. And what kind of bird’s voice will it be? A voice like the Quetzal bird, which the Mayans used to worship.
That is, they had designed their pyramids in such a way that even a slight whisper there would amplify your voice many times over, and then it would echo back in the form of the voice of the bird they used to worship. Incredible piece of engineering.
To this day, it is a mystery how these tribes living in the jungles of the Amazon and Mexico possessed such advanced architectural, scientific, and sonic engineering knowledge. Incredibly amazing. Perhaps we would have gotten that information today if the Spaniards had not burned their books, had not broken their tablets. I don’t know why man is so arrogant, he can’t tolerate anyone but himself.
Do you remember that at the beginning of this series I recited to you a verse from Surah Rum, that travel through the earth and see how powerful and mighty people lived before you. The 3 books that I told you were the only ones that survived, so through those codices it is revealed that at the time of first contact, the Mayans, that is, when the Europeans first saw the Maya people, at that time they were experts in observing the stars with the naked eye.
And they were many years advanced in the knowledge of the stars compared to Europe. Now if you look at the slab on Pakal’s coffin, then it makes sense why researchers like Erich von Däniken believe that the Maya King Pakal is also probably sitting inside an advanced engineering machine. So far you have heard all their good and wonderful things. But now from here on, I am going to tell you some things that might give you goosebumps.
Look, the Maya people’s main focus was on the cultivation of maize because they had almost no domestic animals like cows, oxen, or goats. And due to this imbalance in their diet, their bodies had a great deficiency of some essential amino acids. To fulfill which, they then turned towards human sacrifice and then consuming it. Which then led to the concept of cannibalistic tribes living in the jungles.
The things I am telling you are not just my assumptions. In fact, during my research work for this series, I read a research paper written in the 1970s, in which Michael Harner and Marvin Harris made this shocking revelation. That the real reason behind the cannibalism of those cannibalistic tribes of the Amazon was that they had been consuming only maize for a long time and their bodies had a severe deficiency of certain elements, which then led them to this act.
Now obviously, I am not speaking so openly because young children also listen to this series, so I don’t want them to be scared later. Otherwise, such stories of their rituals are written in their books that if I tell you, your hair will stand on end. But one thing about the Maya people that has not been properly explained to this day is what ultimately happened to them. You see, these people disappeared from the jungles without any apparent reason.
Not overnight like the Roanoke colony, but the Maya civilization, which was born 3-4 thousand years ago, and which was very advanced in astronomical knowledge and sonic engineering, and they left behind amazing architectures, in the 15th century, within a few years, they disappeared from the entire jungle.
Today, there is not a single solid theory that can tell what happened to those people. It was 300 years after their disappearance that two Englishmen, Sir John Lloyd and Sir Frederickson, went to the jungles of the Amazon and Mexico. Then they made illustrations of the ruins and pyramids of the Maya people there. And those illustrations once again sent a new wave of sensation through Europe. And once again, knowledge-lovers like me started flocking to those dense jungles.
And it is the result of their efforts that today we are able to decipher the Mayan calendar, to understand their history and their civilization. And it is through their efforts that we have come to know that the Mayans were not a peaceful civilization far and wide, but bloodthirsty tribes whose history is full of bloodshed.
But at the same time, they were also far more advanced in their astronomical knowledge than the rest of the world and were also unparalleled in sonic engineering. The Maya civilization is just one chapter written in the story of the Mexico and Amazon jungles. But I want to tell you another very interesting thing.
It was 1925 when an explorer from England, Sir Percy Fawcett, who was convinced that there was an ancient lost city in the depths of the Amazon, which would have been a civilization more advanced than the Maya civilization. And Mr. Fawcett named his belief, his lost city, The Lost City of Z.
In early 1925, Mr. Fawcett went into the Amazon jungles with his son in search of The City of Z. But today, a full 100 years have passed since then, and neither has anyone seen Mr. Fawcett, nor has anyone seen his young son.
Later, many search missions were sent, but nothing has been found of Mr. Fawcett and his son to this day. Just rumors and a few tribal stories.
Some local people say that they had come very close to a sacred place where they should not have been, and from there they went to another world.
While some people claim that they survived and the tribesmen of Z made them one of their own. Who silenced them forever and ever.
A film was also made on the life of Mr. Fawcett in 2016, The Lost City of Z. Which I don’t know if you have seen or not.
But recently, with the help of Lidar technology, it has started to become clear that under the dense and old trees of the Amazon, sometimes stone-paved streets and geometric structures, in addition to large organized and planned paths, are still visible. Which shows that someone did indeed used to live here, whose footsteps we cannot even hear today.
