    The topic of this lecture is Omar Ibn Khattab’s life story.  In the beginning, we will take some time to understand. Why do we need to know about the companions?  What is the reason for this? And then we will enter into our main lecture, Omar Ibn Khattab’s life story.  We will start this lecture with a surah. In which Allah says in the Qur’an. Allah says in the Qur’an:

    Allah says, O you who believe! O you who believe! Fear Allah as He has made you to fear. Disdain him, disdain the disbelievers, and abstain from sin and if you are not Muslims, do not die.

    (Quran 03:101-102)

    First of all, die in a Muslim state. Die with faith and abstain from sin. May Allah give us the ability to do both. May Allah give us the ability to abstain from sin. May Allah give us the ability to abstain from sin. Dying in a Muslim state is a success and if any person, any successful person needs to be remembered. Then we need to remember all these people, aho died in a Muslim state with faith (2:08) and among them are the last people who were the companions of the Messenger of Allah.

    In Sunan al-Baghawi. Abdul Ibn Masud said in his book: “May Allah give us the ability to do both. May Allah give us the ability to abstain from sin and if any person, any successful person needs to be remembered. Then we need to remember all these people. Who died in a Muslim state with faith and among them are the last people who were the companions of the Messenger of Allah.

    In Sunan al-Baghawi Because of being a Muslim state There is a possibility of being separated from the right path. But it is not possible for the Muslims and among the Muslims, the last people are The companions of the Messenger of Allah. May Allah give us the ability to do both. Abdul Ibn Masud said Those who were given this teaching, they are Tabi’in the ones we know After the birth of the Messenger of Allah, the last birth of the human race is The birth of the Companions and the second most important birth is the birth of the Tabi’in.

    In that second most important birth any living person. So that they do not take it as their ideal. Abdul Ibn Masud warns about it. He is telling them, “You do not remember any living person among you if that person is a person. May Allah give us the ability to do both It is possible that this person is a person of Abid, a person of Zahid, A person of Mujahid, A person of Parhizgar. But do not remember them after this Remember the dead The same dead Those who were with the Messenger of Allah Companions.

    Why did he say this? The reason is in the case of living people, no one can give this certainty that till death He will be on the right path but in the case of the Companions of the Messenger of Allah. There is no such fear Because we know he died on his right path and on the other hand, those of us who are alive. In this situation we do not know in the future for us what trouble, what trouble waiting?

    The Messenger of Allah he is telling us in a hadith, The story of all those people. The Messenger of Allah says: “That among you, you will see such people whose life will be kept inn the face of Jahannam. Their rituals work everything is like a person of Jahannam. But before death Their life’s work becomes like a person of Jahannam and till the end their place. Becomes like Jahannam, these people of the hadith, they have been born to protect themselves from trouble and till the last moment. They can’t be on the right path in the case of living people. No one knows In front of him. What trouble, what test is waiting, and that trouble.

    Abdullah ibn Mas’ud says, they were the rightful owners of the grave. The word used here, is quite eloquent. Abdullah ibn Mas’ud does not say, that the Followers of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) were the rightful owners of a lot of knowledge. He says, the grave of their knowledge was more. The grave was. In any case, it is very important to know and understand.

    We see many such people, who know a lot, but they themselves do not know. How they will use that knowledge, or how their experiment will be. Or how they will use it. Again, there are many such people who came to the world. In fact, they had a lot of knowledge.

    And they knew a lot of things, which the Companions of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) did not know. For example, you can say, Imam Bukhari, may Allah have mercy on him, he, according to the number of hadiths. He knew more hadiths than any Followers of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). How did this happen? Because he collected and compiled hadiths all his life. He compiled them and published them. He had hadiths, narrated by Ammar-ul-Adiyatullah, Abu Bakr-ul-Osman, King Ba Ali, or Babu Khuraira.

    For example, Abdullah Ibn Mas’ud, when he narrated the knowledge of the Companions of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), he, according to the number, or not by quantity, but by quantity, by knowledge, by the depth of knowledge, he narrated.

    Whe  they tried to understand a matter, when they tried to make a conclusion about a matter, at first, they searched for the understanding of the Companions of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). How did the Companions of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) understand that matter? At first, they tried to see that matter through the eyes of the Companions of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Some Sahabids may have narrated the hadiths 100 or 200 times.

    But, where is their truth? They were exactly in the same place, when Rasulullah S.A.W. narrated the hadith. They were a part of that situation. They were exactly in the same place, when Rasulullah S.A.W. narrated the hadith.

    They understood the hadith through the experience of their life. As a result, except the Sahabids, no one else was known. So, in the case of understanding the hadiths, their truth was different from that of any other people.

    In the same way, in the case of understanding the verses of the Qur’an, when it was revealed in any situation, when the verses of the Qur’an were revealed? They also saw those situations in front of their eyes. Sometimes, the verses that were revealed in that matter, the meaning of those verses, entered their hearts directly. So, we can clearly say from this matter that, the knowledge that the Companions of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) had, the practices, and the knowledge that they had practiced, all together, they cut the top part of the ocean of knowledge.

    Some people used to write poetry, but in that poetry, they did not get any vision or philosophical light. In a very simple language, they used to describe various things about nature, they described their good and bad, or they used to write some poems to free the rivers. The other castes, behind their writing, the influence of their ancient stories, myths, mythologies, the stories of their gods and goddesses, like Greek vision, or Latin vision, or Persian language, we can see all these things.

    The Sahabids were free from such complex thoughts. They had a pure, pure mind. Their culture, food, language, these things were very common.

    And to accept Islam, the kind of pure heart that is required, the kind of pure mind that is required, that was theirs. To understand the Qur’an, a pure heart is required, which was in the Companions of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). We can understand the world through an example.

    We can understand the world through an example. For example, let’s say we want to paint a temple. We can see that the temple has been painted red, blue, turquoise, etc.

    If we place another color on top of that color, then the two will create a new color. We will not be able to find the original color of the object. That is why, to paint a temple, we see that first it is painted white, then another color is placed there, and then it is reflected.

    The same thing happened in the case of the Companions of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). From the beginning, they did not have any religious, historical, mythological, historical, fictional, they did not have any difficulty in accepting these things. There is no doubt about this.

    The people of Jarab, they were Muslims. They worshipped idols, they worshipped stones, they worshipped animals in front of these idols. They did have Shirk.

    But they did not have any mythology, they did not have any historical fiction. Their religion or Shirk, it was basically a mixture of some cultures or rituals. There was no complex religion or theology there.

    The Sahabids, Allah saved them, made them free, as their true companions. Why? To make their religion a reality.

    However, there were some special reasons Allah saved them, as his most and the most most companion of the prophets. Rasulullah (SW) said that each prophet had some companions. The Sahabids, they were companions of Rasulullah (SW) and companions.

    As a matter of fact, the Sahabids, they did this so successfully and so successfully that after the death of Rasulullah (SW), there was no need to send any second person or prophet. To keep humanity on the path, No one else should be allowed to send anyone else to keep them. Because the companions have decided that through them, Islam will reach the people of the century after the century, because of their unclean tag and intolerance towards Islam.

    So, we need to know about the companions. We need to know about how they established the religion.

    We need to know about the companions, in order to understand their high standards. Abdullah ibn Mas’ud said, we can understand their high standards.

    And the process of our discussion, which we have started, we pray to Allah, that till the end, He will accept our discussion and give us the opportunity to do so. And accept this task, and give us the opportunity to do so. This whole series of discussions, is only for one companion.

    If you want to achieve success, then you have to follow the companions’ footsteps. You have to follow their ideals.

     He is telling them, that you have to follow them, Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman and Ali, may Allah be pleased with them. And among these four people, we can see a hadith in Tirmidhi, Rasulullah s.a.w. says, Follow these two people after me, Abu Bakr and Umar.

    Allah has mentioned the companions in various places of the Qur’an. As we can see in one verse. Allah says, Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and the ones who are with him are the firm believers, and the disbelievers are the weak and the weak. Allah says, Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and his companions are firm against the disbelievers, and kind and merciful towards the believers.

    And they are seen in the form of a man and a woman, and they are in the state of Allah’s favor and satisfaction. Now we will enter the main discussion, about Umar ibn Khattab Raitulan. Umar ibn Khattab Raitulan, He was a man of extraordinary character. History could not have created a person like Omar. The unique or extraordinary aspect of Omar’s character was his personality. In the case of Awakara Siddiq, the unique characteristic of Awakara Siddiq was his faith.

    In the case of Omar Ibn Khattab Rai Talon, his unique characteristic is his extraordinary personality. History could not have created a person like Omar Ibn Khattab Rai Talon. On one hand, he is strong, strong, difficult.

    On the other hand, he has a soft inner side. Both of them are completely opposite religions. On the outside, he is very difficult.

    Hazrat Umar (RA) was born 11 years after the birth of the Prophet (PBUH). Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) was 30 years old when he embraced Islam, but according to another opinion, he was 27 years old at the time.

    Now we will discuss the physical build of Hazrat Umar (RA). He was a tall man. He is easily recognizable in a crowd because of his tall stature. Hazrat Umar was well-built and he was a wrestler. Hazrat Umar had little hair on his head and when he walked he walked very fast. Because of Hazrat Umar’s strength, the infidels feared him very much and even the Muslims feared him. However, Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) was very kind and forgiving, so he would forgive people very easily because his heart was very soft.

    We find in various hadiths that when Hazrat Umar (RA) wanted to punish a person, he would seek permission from Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH). Even when he beat a person, he would not beat him to death, but would beat him gently so that his saree would not be damaged.

    Just as Hazrat Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) used to say during his rule, “Oh, if only I were a bird, how much better it would be!” or “If only I were a blade of grass, how much better it would be!” because I would not have to answer to anyone, similarly Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) also used to say such things out of fear of Allah.

    Hazrat Ali (RA) narrated an incident about Hazrat Umar (RA). One day he saw Hazrat Umar (RA) running after a camel to catch it. He asked, “O Amir al-Mu’minin, what are you doing?” He replied, “A camel belonging to the Zakat group has run away from the herd. I am trying to catch it.” Hazrat Ali (RA) said, “You are making very difficult arrangements for those who come after you.”
