Now, we are going to see the first life events of Omar Ibn-ul-Khattab. Omar Ibn-ul-Khattab knew how to read and write. At that time, Arabic was a big challenge.

Because at that time, there was no need to read anything written. There were different ways to live and live. But at the same time, Omar Ibn-ul-Khattab was one of the few people who could read and write.

And he had studied writing in an active program with Abu Sufiyan’s father. And we can see that Omar Ibn-ul-Khattab was appointed as one of the same writers. Omar Ibn-ul-Khattab was appointed as one of the same writers.

Omar Ibn-ul-Khattab was appointed as one of the same writers. In the first life, Omar Ibn-ul-Khattab worked as a gardener. He used to go to his father’s fields to buy wood and plant it.

He worked as a gardener to plant the crops of his aunts and uncles. And after a little more time, he started his own business. So, this was another important profession of his. He was a businessman. And for the sake of the business, he traveled to different places. He traveled to different countries. And Omar Ibn-ul-Khattab was quite successful in his business. He traveled to places like Syria, Yemen, etc. And he made a lot of profits.

So, at a young age, Omar Ibn-ul-Khattab became a very rich person. From a physical point of view, we can say that he was a very famous wrestler. He used to participate in various wrestling competitions at the time of Jahiliyat.

He used to participate in various wrestling competitions and won. Omar Ibn-ul-Khattab had another important ability. That is, he had the ability to solve political issues. This quality has been developed in him since childhood. And in the age of Jahiliyat, Omar Ibn-ul-Khattab’s name spread all over the world. He was able to do various things.

For this reason, he was appointed as a messenger by Quraysh. We know about the ability of Quraysh in relation to wrestling. That they had the ability to participate in various races. They were able to fulfill various responsibilities of various races. Omar Ibn-ul-Khattab’s race was Banu Adi. The work Omar Ibn-ul-Khattab did on their behalf was to discuss and resolve disputes with various races as messengers.

At that time, Omar Ibn-ul-Khattab was a diplomat. Omar Ibn-ul-Khattab was such a person since the time of Jahiliyat that he took any matter very seriously. That is, whatever he did, he did it with all his heart and soul. In a personal way, he lived a quiet life. And if he considered any matter to be correct, then he was ready to do anything for it. That is, he was not such a person that he would believe in any matter. And after believing, he would sit quietly in the house. He did not do anything for that matter. He was not such a person.

At the time of Jahiliyat, when Quraysh began to attack the Muslims, at that time, he also became one of the agro-village people in this role. According to a person from Quraysh, he also committed atrocities against the Muslims. We can see on one side, that from the time of Rasul-ul-Masih-ul-Masih, when the atrocities were in the form of a big attack, at that time, the leaders of the races took a decision and decided that the people of the races who had converted to Islam, especially the Maid, the people of that race would attack the Maid of their race to get out of Islam.

Omar-ur-Rahid-ul-Masih, for this principle, went to work. And as a volunteer in his free time, he went to beat the Maid of other races. In this case, a Maid incident has been revealed.

Because of his conversion to Islam, Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) used to beat his slave girl severely with a whip. Once, when he was tired, he sat down to rest. Then he said to his slave girl, “Don’t think that I have shown you mercy. Rather, I am tired and resting.” Hearing this, his slave girl said, “Don’t think that you are tired of yourself. Allah has made you tired.”

Omar’s father was among the few people who converted to Islam at that time. One of them was Amar-ur-Rahid-ul-Masih. Amar-ur-Rahid-ul-Masih was the father of Omar-ur-Rahid-ul-Masih, the grandson of Khattab. We can say that when Amar and Amar’s wife converted to Islam.

When in Makkah, the Muslims’ movement became more intense, at that time, Rasul-ul-Masih-ul-Masih gave them the permission, that if you want, you can migrate to Abyssinia. The Muslims were taking the proposal of migration secretly. One day, Omar-ur-Rahid-ul-Masih returned home, Amar-ur-Rahid-ul-Masih’s wife, Umme Abdullah binti Hantama, was reading his letter.

Amar-ur-Rahid-ul-Masih was also reading his letter. Amar-ur-Rahid-ul-Masih was able to understand this situation, and he said, are you going somewhere? The companion said, yes, we are going, because you and your companions, have harassed us as much as you can. We have returned to Allah’s land, where we do not have to face any trouble, if we go and follow His religion.

The companion clearly said these words. There was a change in Amar-ur-Rahid-ul-Masih, and he said such a thing, that no one expects from a person like Amar. Amar-ur-Rahid-ul-Masih said, may Allah be with you in this journey.

Amar-ur-Rahid-ul-Masih was expressing his condolences to them. Umme Abdullah binti Hantama, was quite surprised, and her husband, Amar-ur-Rahid-ul-Masih, when he returned home, he said, I have expressed my condolences to you, and do you think that Amar will ever accept Islam? The companion said, yes, I think it is possible. Amar-bin-Rabiya said, keep in mind, Amar’s father Gadha can accept Islam, but Amar will never accept Islam. He can never accept Islam. This was the situation of Muslims at that time. They were so disappointed, that they did not want to accept Islam. But in the will of Allah, Amar-ur-Rahid-ul-Masih accepted Islam. And this incident again proves that guidance is in the hands of Allah. Allah Subhanahu wa ta’ala knows whoever he wants, he can give guidance to whoever he wants.

Now we are going to that incident, how Amar-ur-Rahid-ul-Masih became a Muslim. At first, I would like to mention a hadith. Amar-ur-Rahid-ul-Masih’s son Amar-ur-Rahid-ul-Masih said that when he heard Amar say something, that I think the situation will be like this, I saw that the situation was arranged according to his assumption.

Amar-ur-Rahid-ul-Masih, when he assumed anything, his assumption was true. He said that once Amar was sitting somewhere, at that time a very beautiful young man was passing by that place. Amar said to see that person, that person used to worship Jahiliyat at one time, or that future scholar, he was a future scholar.

He used to bring that person to me. Amar brought that person to Amar-ur-Rahid-ul-Masih. Amar said to him that I think I have seen you before, you were a future scholar.

That person was a Muslim at that time. He said that as I saw today, I have never seen such a shocking incident in my life. Amar said to him that I swear to you, you tell me the truth.

That person accepted it and said that yes, at one time I was a priest in the time of Jahiliyat, I was a future scholar. Amar then said to him, since you were a future scholar, then you tell me, which of the stories you have heard I was sitting in a market, at that time a woman came to me. I saw that she had come in a very emotional state.

And she said to me that you see, the situation of the people of the day is that they have become weak, helpless, and they are becoming desperate, and they are gradually becoming He is telling the truth. Because one day, Amar Raitel Santuni said, that one day I was in the presence of these deities. Amar was narrating the incident of Jahiliyat.

At that time, a person came with a stick in his hand, which had to be placed in front of the statue. He placed it. At that time, a person shouted an incantation, which I have never heard before.

That person shouted and said, Hey Amukh, Mandokachkari, keep telling the story of success, keep telling the story of success. The light of the world of beneficial matter will shine very soon. The light of the world of beneficial matter will shine very soon.

Because of the discomfort of the people, the people were running away from there. But Amar said, I have decided that I will stay there, and I will listen to what he says. Then the announcement was given again, and that person said, that the light of the world of beneficial matter will shine very soon.

The light of the beneficial matter will shine very soon. A pious person will declare this to the light, that there is no god but Allah. A pious person will declare this to the light, that there is no god but Allah.

The polytheists of Mecca gathered and asked which of us could kill Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him). Hazrat Umar agreed. Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) set out with a drawn sword to kill the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), but on the way he met a companion, Umayya (may Allah be pleased with him).

He asked Hazrat Umar (RA) where are you going? Hazrat Umar (RA) said, “I am going to kill the person who insults our gods and goddesses.” Hearing this, Umayya (may Allah be pleased with him) said to him, “Do you want to kill a person who comes from another tribe and if you kill him, his tribe will attack you?” Hearing this, Hazrat Umar (RA) got into a verbal fight with him. Then the man said, “O Omar, don’t you know that your own sister Fatima and her husband Saeed have embraced Islam?” Because Hazrat Umayya (may Allah be pleased with him) wanted to somehow change Hazrat Umar’s decision to protect Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him), but when Umar was not willing to listen to him in any way, he said the following.

Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) immediately set off towards his sister’s house and, standing at the door of the house, heard the sound of the Quran being recited. Inside the house were Hazrat Umar’s sister Fatima and her husband Saeed, and Khabal Ibn Ara (may Allah be pleased with him) was teaching them the Quran.

As soon as Fatima opened the door, she saw Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) standing there, angry, with a sword in his hand.

Perhaps as soon as you saw me, Khabal Ibn Ara (may Allah be pleased with him)  hid inside the house and Fatima hid the verses of the Quran that she had memorized with him.

Then Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said, “I have just heard that you are reciting the Quran at home. Have you become a Muslim?” Then her mind Fatima said that not at all, the three of us were talking inside the house. Then Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) got angry and said, “Don’t lie at all.” Then Fatima’s husband, Sa’idi, came forward and said, “What do you care if we adopt a religion better than yours?” Then Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) grabbed Fatima’s husband by the beard and hit him on the ground, causing blood to flow from his body. Seeing her husband’s condition, Amr’s sister Fatima rushed to him and pushed him away, saying, “Yes, we have accepted Islam and we bear witness that Allah is the only God and that Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) is the Messenger of Allah.”

Hearing this from his sister, Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) changed his heart. He said, “Tell me what you were reciting.” His sister said, “You are in an impure state. Please take a bath first.” After he took a bath, his sister let him recite the verses of the Quran, which were as follows:

Ta, Ha. We have not sent down to you the Qur’an that you be distressed. But only as a reminder for those who fear [Allah] – A revelation from He who created the earth and highest heavens, The Most Merciful [who is] above the Throne established. To Him belongs what is in the heavens and what is on the earth and what is between them and what is under the soil.

    (Quran 20:1-6)

After reading these verses of the Quran, Hazrat Umar (RA) had a change of heart and immediately set out for Darul Aqam, where the Prophet (PBUH) used to teach the Quran to his companions.

When he reached Darul Arqam, he knocked on the door. A companion peeked and saw that it was Umar, the son of Khattab! Everyone sat down in fear. Hamza (may Allah be pleased with him) asked them, “Why are you so afraid?” He said, “Umar is standing at the door.” Hamza said, “So what happened?”

There was no one who could confront Umar, so no one dared to open the door, except Hamza. He was the commander of the Quraysh. Hamza (may Allah be pleased with him) He said, “What happened when Umar came? If he comes for good, I will welcome him, and if he comes for evil, I will finish him off with his sword!” The sword was hanging around Umar’s neck.

Hamza (may Allah be pleased with him) opened the door and, together with another companion, brought Umar by his hands. Then they placed him in front of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked him to release Umar. He was released.

How amazing! The iron man Umar melted like wax!

The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) grabbed Umar’s shirt and pulled him towards him.

He asked him, “O son of Khattab! What is the reason for your coming here? Will you not stop fighting against Islam until Allah destroys you?”

Umar replied helplessly, “O Messenger of Allah! I have come here to testify to my faith in Allah and His Messenger. For no other purpose I have not come!’

Then the companions loudly said Takbir – Allahu Akbar!

The sound of Takbir began to echo from the foot of Mount Safa to the alleys of Mecca!

After Hazrat Umar (RA) embraced Islam, he wanted to make his conversion to Islam public. When Umar (RA) saw that Muslims were being repeatedly attacked by others, he wanted to spread his message of Islam among everyone. Hazrat Umar (RA) saw that the person who oppressed the Muslims the most was his own uncle Abu Jahl, so he first went to Abu Jahl’s house and when he saw him, Abu Jahl said, “Welcome, O son of Khattab.” But then Hazrat Umar (RA) said that I had embraced Islam. Abu Jahl said, “What are you saying?” When Hazrat Umar (RA) said the same thing again, he closed the door in his face.

When Hazrat Umar embraced Islam in the 6th year of Hijri, the number of Muslims was only 40, excluding those who had migrated to Abyssinia.

Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) returned to Darul Akaamiyyah and asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), “O Messenger of Allah, are we not on the truth?” In response, Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) said that yes, of course we are based on the truth. Then Hazrat Umar (RA) asked him why we are spreading Islam secretly. Hearing this, Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) formed two groups, one led by Hazrat Umar (RA) and the other led by Hazrat Hamza (RA).

Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) took these two groups out onto the streets of Mecca and they began to proclaim that “Ashhadu Allah ilaha illallahu Muhammadur Rasulullah.”
