A statement attributed to Ali ibn Abi Talib about knowing the paths of heaven better than the paths of earth is frequently used in modern portal theories. Historical attribution and intended meaning must be considered before the phrase is treated as a physics claim.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Quran 55:33 challenges jinn and humanity concerning the bounds of the heavens and earth and uses the word sultan<\/em>. Commentators have explained this in terms of authority, power or proof. It does not provide an engineering specification for tearing space-time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Black holes and accelerator claims<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The energy of a particle collision is not the same as the size of an accelerator or a hole in the sky. Claims that a machine of a particular light-year length would open a religious gate need a cited physical model and calculation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NASA states that black holes are not wormholes and do not transport swallowed stars or galaxies into another universe. Matter approaching them is governed by gravity, and black holes do not act as cosmic vacuum cleaners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A saying can be influential even when its earliest transmission is debated. Historians ask when the wording first appears, whether earlier collections preserve a similar expression, how the compiler obtained it and how later commentators understood it. The answer may be more nuanced than either \u201ccertainly authentic\u201d or \u201ccompletely invented.\u201d<\/p>\n

In context, \u201cpaths of heaven\u201d can express exceptional knowledge of religion, guidance or celestial matters. It does not naturally provide engineering instructions. Reading \u201cpath\u201d as a modern wormhole requires a new technical meaning that must be argued for, not assumed.<\/p>\n

Ali\u2019s established intellectual legacy<\/h2>\n

Ali\u2019s importance in Islamic thought does not depend on portal claims. Sunni and Shia traditions alike remember his closeness to the Prophet, learning, eloquence, legal judgment and courage. Focusing on verifiable teachings gives readers a stronger account than attaching his name to claims that cannot be traced to a reliable early source.<\/p>\n\n\n
